A.R.I. 3/4" RP-501 Nylon Composite - Reduced Pressure Assembly

The RP-501 series of backflow preventers from A.R.I. are comprised of two independent, spring-loaded check valves and a hydraulically operated differential pressure relief valve. These backflow preventers include composite shutoff valves at each end of the assembly and are equipped with built-in test cocks. The 3/4" reduced pressure backflow is an effective barrier between drinking water and high health hazards. Its differential pressure relief valve allows it to instantly disperse potentially hazardous contaminants from the pipeline. This backflow preventer features A.R.I.’s patented nylon composite body which serves both as a major theft deterrent and enhances overall efficiency, as the unit’s modular design allows for simple maintenance, less down-time, and cleaner water throughout the life of the backflow.
